Deja Vu Sunday...

Last Sunday, we went to church and then had dinner with friends and family.  And that is what we did today just in Iceland!  How wonderful it is to go to church and it be the same.  We could take the sacrament and renew our covenants with the Lord even though we are far from home.  The local missionaries did a great job translating for us.  The testimonies were wonderful and the spirit of the Lord is so strong in this wonderful country.

We then had a wonderful bbq with our Icelandic family and friends.  How wonderful that our eternal family is spread all over the world.  We love getting to know our amazing family!  We jumped on a trampoline, ate whale burgers (no Frank didn't try it), had chocolate pudding with avocado in it (yes Frank did eat that), and laughed until it hurt...  For all our Icelandic family and a few Australians thrown in -
'We love you!'

And of course Markus was the entertainment...

Yeah - Yeah - Yeah - Yeah....  is as entertaining in Icelandic as it is in English!

  1. Wait, Frank ate avocado? I don't think I could eat whale burgers either.
How exactly does one say "yeah" in Icelandic?
I think Markus may just have beaten Zac in the cuteness arena. Sorry Zac.

  2. First off Frankie didn't know there was avocado in the chocolate pudding - second it was Chocolate... 'Yeah' in Icelandic is "Yeah" said by a cute Icelandic boy!

  3. Hidden Avocado, now that makes sence. Chocolate and avocado go really well together. You and I know that. =^)
Text me your tivo password so I can break into your tv, without breaking your tv.

And Markus still wins in cuteness. Have a fun time and put away the school books. Yes I'm talking to you.
