Hey It's Me!
Today was fun! I got to see the shift of the North American Eurasian tectonic plates. Totally wicked!
While I was looking at these shifts I thought I wish I were a bug. You know like a flying ant. So, I could fly down into one of the crevices of the plates. Then I would fold up my wings and walk around the plates. And if I fell I wouldn't have to worry because that is what exoskeletons are for!
My dad stopped on the side of the road so we could walk on a lava field. It was really cool.
The rocks are cooled lava, and they are full of holes that go throughout the rock. This is why even the big lava rocks are pretty light. The lava rocks in this lava field were covered with bouncy moss. And it is illegal here to destroy this moss.
Guess who has some lava rocks...
