Good Night Iceland

Our last day in Iceland was full of amazing sights, way too much driving and lots of laughter.

Iceland has some of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world. We had the privilege of visited a few today.

Met some new friends...

Roamed around in some traditional Icelandic homes.

Admired the traditional churches that dot the landscape.

Went to the base of the infamous volcano - which I will not be pronouncing!  At the visitors center, we met a wonderful woman whose family and farm survived the eruption.  Their story was heart breaking and inspiring.

Their farm today - about 2 years later

Found a real Troll Cave....

Visited Glacier Bay and even saw some seals (and one was purple - who knew:)

And ended our busy day with a world class sunset at 12:30 am.

We leave Iceland early tomorrow morning, and we are sad to go.  Our stay here has made us realize how beautiful this country truly is.  We are definitely coming back!
